The Broadcom VideoCore multimedia processor has been designed to display high-quality video on two-inch colour LCD screens that can capture four mega-pixel images. The company said that the chip can transform a mobile phone into a multi-functional media device, acting as a TV, camcorder and digital camera, without significant power drain. "
