There's been a massive amount of activity around the world in the mobile content sector in the last few weeks. The sector is consolidating and globalizing.

In May alone, US companies announced deals that included Verisign's acquiring German portal Jamba for $273m (?149m), games company MFORMA's acquiring MobileGame of Korea, games company THQ Wireless's purchasing a controlling interest in Minick of Switzerland and American Greetings Interactive's acquiring Midiringtones.
